8 Perfect Gifts For Cricut Owners

What To Get The Crafter In Your Life This Christmas

I am pretty difficult to buy for because I’m so particular… but I’m also rubbish at making lists of what I want too. So I thought this would be a good post for anyone like me that needs some ideas for their Xmas list this year, or for anyone who has a crafter in their life but they’re not sure what to get them because it seems as if they already have everything!

These gifts are relevant all year round too so you can give/receive them for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Valentines Day, you name it…

Subscription/Membership

Subscriptions and Memberships are such great gifts for the person who has everything, especially if it’s the type of thing you/they would never buy for themselves.

And there are lots to choose from. It could be one with access to lots of design assets such as…

Cricut Access

Cutting Machine Confident

If they’re new to the Cricut world, get them up to speed with their machine by gifting Cutting Machine Confident:

Packed full of tutorials, cheat sheets and everything they need to get confident with their Cricut. And it’s a one time fee rather than a subscription!

Or if learning some other new skills is on the agenda next year, then maybe a membership to an online course platform like…

Skillshare

Or if they’ve been talking about starting a Cricut business in particular and need a bit of a helping hand, also check out our Cricut Business For Beginners Bundle

Or if you or they are wanting to level up design skills then perhaps an…

Adobe subscription

would be the right fit.

Lots of them can be bought monthly or annually depending on the budget.

Tools

So this is anything that makes crafting life a little easier, so it could be something you/your gift recipient doesn’t have or something they could do with replacing.

Tool sets like this are great…

Or maybe a Cricut Trimmer…

There are lots of tools to choose from that do all sorts of different jobs! Check out the Cricut website for even more inspiration…

And if you’re buying for someone else just check they definitely don’t have it stored away in their craft room first, as if they are anything like me then there is a chance they might do!

Vinyl Packs

Lots of companies have packs of vinyl for new Vinyl cutting machine owners to have a play with - perfect if you want to try something new but you’re just not sure what yet. Also, this is perfect if you’re buying for someone who is completely new to Cricut and will be doing a lot of experimenting in the new year.

Expressions Vinyl has these mystery boxes

although they sell out quickly so sign up for an alert for the next one.

And GM Crafts in the UK has mystery boxes too…

Blank Items

Again if you want to do lots of experimenting, or facilitate it, then blanks are amazing gifts to practice on and for anyone who is thinking of starting their own business.

This could just be…

Blank Cups

Tshirts

…bits of wood, perspex sheets, frames, card - anything that can be cut with a Cricut, or used to add vinyl or iron-on vinyl to basically.
If you’re not sure what materials Cricut can cut, check out the list here:

And some of these you can get pretty cheap too so they’re a perfect stocking stuffer. Perhaps just make it clear what they’re for and that you’re not just buying the person plain white everything.

Office Quote Art

This is a great gift for anyone with their own craft room or office that they spend a lot of time in! There are so many to choose from, look at places like…

Etsy

for some really cool art quotes and motivational messages. Or just some fun and colourful art to brighten up the workspace. Or maybe just make your own and frame (and then you can get extra personal) and design it exactly the way you want it.

Diary/Stationery

This may seem like a little bit of a boring one for some people but when you run your own craft business from home then good diaries, desk organisers, nice pens and cute stationery make life that little bit easier. And prettier of course.

Gift Voucher

And if you’re really stuck with what to get, or what to choose, then vouchers are always a great choice! Especially if you hold off spending them until there are January sales on.

This could be for an online store like:

Amazon

or Etsy

or for an in-person store like Hobby Lobby or Hobbycraft

It doesn’t have to be monetary either - if you can offer up some of your time or expertise to help the crafter in your life, whether it’s social media or business-related, or if it’s purely just some time to help them pack up items when they’re super busy, then I’m sure that would be greatly appreciated. And great if you’re on a budget too.

Get this printable voucher from PoppyPrintablesStore and fill it in with your own details depending on what you want to offer…

New Machine/Equipment

If there is a big budget though, then maybe it’s about time you or your crafty person upgraded to a bigger and better machine.

Check out my post for the differences between the newest Cricut machines and the Cameo 4 if you’re wondering what to buy…

or you could even look at some of the more expensive vinyl cutters or a Glowforge if you’re really pushing the boat out.

Or it may not be a cutting machine that is needed but a better…

Heat Press

or something else that can help you or them create better quality crafts.

I hope that has given you some ideas - let me know in the comments if you think of any other must-haves, and also what you’re adding to your Christmas list this year!
